Grants for single moms are one of the most useful parts of the Obama stimulus package. Many of us were tired of hearing how the giant incompetent corporations were being bailed out. Even today, small credit holders are being charged upwards of 30% for their credit cards because of a late payment, yet this money that these institutions are holding us accountable for is actually our money. Absolutely unbelievable. That is why providing a free college education to needy moms who actually want to make a difference with their lives is a light at the end of a very dark tunnel in our nation’s current recession.
