Defeating Tomato Disease

Tomatoes are among the most popular home-grown vegetables.  Many people find the taste of a homegrown tomato to be one of summer’s best treats.  Unfortunately, growing tomatoes at home is not always easy.  Weather plays a big role in the success or failure of tomato plants, and this is obviously beyond the control of the gardener.  Another factor is disease.  tomato diseases are fairly common and can move quickly through a garden, spoiling an entire crop in a matter of days.  To combat this problem, gardeners can check for local known diseases and then buy plants that are resistant to those specific problems.
