However, there are also discount rugs that are discounted because they have major flaws – and these are the discount rugs that you ideally want to avoid. Rugs may also be discounted because of poor quality, poor design, or simply because they don’t sell well – which usually means that they are of poor quality or design. When you select discount rugs, make sure that you are aware of the reason for the discount, keeping in mind that all discount rugs are not created equally.
