The Ancient Egypt rooms at the British Museum are some of my favourite collections. I’ve always been fascinated by Egyptian culture and the collection does not disappoint. One day during a testimony meeting at The Church of jesus christ of Latter-day Saints, this wonderful friend of mine got up to bear her testimony of Jesus Christ and she made a remark about another women’s testimony. She had mentioned that “nursery” was her favorite calling. This woman has about 7-8 children including twins. One of the most interesting conversations I ever had was about the baptism of jesus christ. It is our belief that He was baptized to fulfill all righteousness and as an example to us. I believe it’s stated very plainly by the Savior that except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. One person I met interpreted this to mean that to be born of water has to do with the amniotic fluid when you are born. I think it’s simple. Jesus Christ was baptized, He stated the need for it, and we need to follow Him.
